Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan is a yoga of awareness and is considered the most comprehensive form of the Yogic traditions. 

Kundalini Yoga is in the flow of the Kriya - a blend of physical and spiritual practices integrating physical movement, postures, dynamic breathing techniques, meditation, mudra and mantra. 

The goal is to build physical vitality and increase consciousness. with an accumulated effect to clear limited beliefs and habits.    

The Kundalini energy is a creative potential that exists within each of us. The Kundalini energy is considered to be located in the energetic body at the base of the spine.  

With practice, the Kundalini energy expands upwards awakening our potential to connect with our higher selves.

When you raise your Kundalini and change your consciousness, every aspect of life gets transformed.  You gain a strong physical body, strong immune system, vital glands, a strong nervous system, good circulation, and an awareness of the impact of your habits. 

This foundation gives you energy and helps  you deal with the mental and spiritual facets of your life. 

Yogi Bhajan, a master in Kundalini Yoga from the Punjab in India came to the West in the 60s.  His teachings include a comprehensive lifestyle that allows the radiance of the soul to shine in every facet of life. Kundalini is not a religion and is more than a mere series of exercises for the physical body.

Why wear white natural clothing and head covering?

Wearing natural white clothing reflects what is outside and you go within yourself. It expands your auric radiance by at least one foot!

Covering the head provides a sense of containment, focus and clarity of thought. 

Turbans in particular are useful for holding energy in, and for creating a meditative focus at the third eye point (brow point).

Mantra's and Chants

A primary aspect  of Kundalini Yoga is the conscious application of ancient mantras and modern positive affirmations. 

There is a vibratory frequency that corresponds to everything in the Universe. Mantras contain the vibrations of peace, prosperity and connection.

Every time you chant a mantra, you are tapping out a particular sequence, rhythm, and position that initiates a chemical reaction in the brain and body.
